Join Slow Food on Dec 9, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM as we launch into our 2019 partnership with da Shop, an awesome local and independent bookstore in Kaimuki. The partnership between da Shop and Slow Food Oahu celebrates food, farming, and the books that inspire us. Visitors will get special pricing on the Slow Food Book Club books for 2019, first chance to sign up for Mark Noguchi’s January Knife Skills Workshop (paired with an excellent book on the knife, Knife: The Culture, Craft and Cult of the Cook’s Knife by Tim Hayward) it would be a great gift for the food in your life. Come for holiday gift giving ideas, Slow Food swag, and the change to meet the Slow Food board and tell us what are are excited about for the new year. There will be refreshments, and we will be joined by other food-focused vendors sharing their goods!
