Part II of ‘Inamona Workshop

November 24
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Come learn how to make ‘inamona (kukui nut relish) with the gang at He’eia Fishpond on Saturday, October 20 is part I. Part II will be held on Saturday November 24, same hours, same location. ‘Inamona is a tasty relish to have handy in the freezer as it keeps well and can be used to make your poke extra ono, or use in many other dishes. It’s a good skill to learn and you’ll take some home to share with your friends and family. Held from 9:00am to 11:00am, two separate Saturdays, Oct 20 and Nov. 24. We will go from start to finish and everything in between–how to select, crack and roast your nuts, then make this special Hawaiian condiment which is ridiculously expensive in stores. You’ll need to bring a hammer, a pint mason jar and a potluck lunch dish to share for the Part II session. This event will be held at Pae Pae o He’eia on the windward side.

Cost $20 for SF members, $25 for nonmembers.
